Day 14... 3 healthy habits
Hello again my fabulous friends, Today's topic of interest for the 30 day blog challenge is what are my three healthy habits. This like all of the other posts that focus on health is a very dear and close topic to my heart. I have many healthy habits that I have developed over my life time and pretty proud of where I am today. They consist of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual habits, and they all blend together to make up the great person that I am today. So without saying too much about ALL of them I'll just focus on the three that are pretty important to my daily life. 1. Always make sure to wash your face at least two times a day, once in the morning and once again at night. This is helpful for me as I have very oily skin and am relieved by how much dirt and germs are taken off from getting up after sleeping and heading to bed at the end of the day. This is a very important habit to incorporate in your daily living and can help decrease acne, blackheads, whiteheads, and other irritations of the skin. 2. In the early morning as soon as I wake up I pray to God for at least five minutes. I thank him for letting me wake up that morning and I praise him and ask him to help me with certain things that are happening to me either that day or later on during the week. I pray for my family members, my boyfriend, my friends, my enemies and just to have a productive and enjoyable day. This helps me to remain humble and grateful despite my circumstances. I also ask for forgiveness for anything that I have done wrong and feel satisfied with myself as a person. Like I said before FAITH plays a big role in my life and without this habit I would be lost as soon as I get up. 3. Lastly an important habit for myself that I incorporate into my every day routine is drinking at least half my body weight in fluid ounces of water. It doesn't matter if its spring water, Aquafina, or even tap water I just make sure it is done. As our body is made up of around 78% water it is important that we refuel ourselves everyday. Most of us are dehydrated or our fueling our bodies with the wrong types of liquids. I enjoy water and love the crisp taste of it. Also as an elite athlete water is a very important and simplistic way for me to stay in shape and to perform my best at practice and during competitions. Well that's it the 3 habits that I incorporate into my daily routine that keep me functioning at least 90%. Hope you guys have a great day and leave any comments. As Always, Stay woke, stay beautiful, and stay humble -MAT |
